THE FITZ SHOPS FIELD NOTES

Make the most of your download.

Choose the right file, try a sample, and get from a download to something you can actually use.

A printable game, an editable wedding sign, a slide deck and a budget workbook need different workflows. Start with the job you want to finish. The file extension tells you how to open a file; the individual product listing tells you what you are allowed to edit and how you may use it.

A useful five-minute sample check

  1. Open it in the app you plan to use. A preview in an email or file browser is not the same as editing the file. Confirm text, layers or spreadsheet inputs behave as expected.
  2. Make one representative change. Try a long name on a sign, your longest slide title, or a typical budget entry. Look for wrapping and clipping.
  3. Save or export the result. Check that the new file appears in your downloads or chosen folder. For a browser tool, leaving the tab open is not a backup.
  4. Reopen the saved file. Verify the changes survived and the output opens independently. For a printable, inspect the page size and print one proof.

Avoid buying the same content twice

Doodle Thicket’s Meadow Seamless Patterns are already included in the full Meadow Design Library. Penny Acorn’s standalone Household Budget Companion is the same browser tool included in the Household Budget Toolkit. Choose the larger bundle only if its additional files suit your workflow; check the shop’s current listing for the exact contents.

When you need order help

Digital purchases and file delivery use Gumroad; Spark & Snicker physical orders use Printful. For help, email drake@fitznet.us with the shop, product, order reference if available, and what happened. Do not send passwords, full card numbers or private budget files. A description of the problem and the app/browser version is a useful first step.
